Description
Single Spiral Silicon Carbide SiC heating elements with a spiral-grooved heating section, are more resistant to heat and corrosion than conventional products and are able to withstand operation in rigorous conditions. Single Spiral SiC Heating elements are made of selected super quality green silicon carbide as main material, which is made into blank, silicide under high temperature and re-crystallized. Max temperature 1600 deg C. Single Spiral SiC Heating elements are provided with energy-saving, low-resistance, cold-end terminals.
SiC heating elements have rather large specific resistance. When it is heated in air and the surface temperature of the hot zone reaches 1050°C, it's resistance rate is 600-1400mm2/mm and its resistance value changes as the temperature rises which is negative value from room-temperature to 800 °C and is postive value nature over 800 °C .
